Characteristics of the band saw:

  • Precise saw band guides with hard metal HM guides and wear-resistant guide wheels
  • The saw bow moves hydraulically along precise linear pre-tensioned guides
  • Stepless adjustable saw band speed with frequency converter 20-120 m/min with display
  • Hydraulic lowering and raising of the saw bow and hydraulic clamping of the workpiece
  • Manual, stepless adjustment of the cutting angle with reading on a large scale
  • Automatic control of cutting pressure and cutting feed
  • Display of hydraulic band tension on the manometer
  • Driven inter-tooth cleaning brush – runs synchronously with the saw band speed
  • Hydraulic lateral shifting of the movable vise (only for DGH models)
  • Adjustable arm with saw blade guide, set to the size of the workpiece
  • Cooling system with two inlets before and after the cutting channel
  • Integrated rollers for easier movement of the workpiece

Band saw operation is semi-automatic, which means:

  • Hydraulic clamping of the workpiece
  • Automatic lowering of the saw bow, after cutting is done it automatically rises to the upper position
  • The vise opens hydraulically
  • Cycle repeat

Universal semi-automatic band saw with the capability for double-sided angle cuts in a dual-column construction.

Dual-column band saws with double-sided linear guidance achieve much shorter cutting times due to the rigidity of the arm, especially on solid materials, compared to machines with a flexible saw arm.

The precise three-sided carbide guide of the saw blade, the saw arm mounted on both sides on pre-tensioned linear guides, a 54 mm high saw blade, and a synchronously operating chip removal brush are prerequisites for this machine's excellent cutting performance.

Material clamping, arm movement into and out of the cut are hydraulically controlled, while material feeding is manual.

The entire cutting cycle is executed at the push of a button - material clamping, saw blade start, cut execution, lifting the arm to the set upper position, and opening the vise.

When the machine is switched to manual mode, all machine functions can be controlled separately. All control elements are located on a freely adjustable control panel.

The saw arm rotation is continuous with a cutting angle range of 60° to the right and 60° to the left, while the clamped material remains in a constant position. Clamping is ensured by a fully lifted bow with hydraulic shifting left/right.

The drive control of the saw blade is equipped with a frequency converter, allowing for continuous adjustment of the optimal speed relative to the material being cut, in the range of 20 to 120 m/min. This significantly extends the life of the blade itself and the machine's productivity. The saw blade is inclined at an angle of 2° relative to the holding surface, which also significantly shortens the cutting time and contributes to the longer lifespan of the saw blade.

Automatic pressure regulation of the saw blade during cutting relative to the material resistance is a standard feature of the machine.

The saw is also equipped with continuously adjustable arm feeding into the cut.

The machine can be expanded with a wide range of accessories, such as a LaserLiner for marking the cutting process, additional lighting, or blade mist lubrication (micronizer).

The machine can be customized to the specific requirements of the user with the help of roller conveyors for material infeed and outfeed, stop systems, or transverse feeders for materials.
