MARATHON® X3000® - Special bandsaw blade for high-strength and hard-to-machine materials

WIKUS has developed the cutting material X3000® for sawing high-alloyed, hard-to-machine materials and hardened steels with a tensile strength above 1000 N/mm².

X3000® is characterized by high hardness and excellent toughness, which is a combination of material properties that give MARATHON® X3000® particularly good cutting edge stability.

The bimetal bandsaw blade MARATHON® X3000® in combination with a carrier band made of heat-treated alloyed steel achieves exceptional continuous running properties.
