TCTYRE® - Special band for sawing rubber and metal composites

Composite materials of rubber and metal are mainly used as materials for automotive tires and sheathed cables. WIKUS has developed carbide band saws TCTYRE® specifically for cutting such combinations of materials.

The TCTYRE® band saw blade ensures reliable quality control in the production of products from rubber composites, such as tires for cars, trucks, tractors, and even large machines. The clean and straight cutting surfaces of the band saw blade are impressive in quality control.

An additional area of use is the shredding and recycling of used tires and discarded cables. Shredding waste material is a prerequisite for extracting the metals contained and recycling the rubber for further use.
