Product description

Universal automatic band saw with a dual-column construction, also designed for unilateral angled cuts. Due to the rigidity of the saw bow, dual-column band saws with bilateral linear guiding achieve much shorter cutting times, especially when cutting solid materials, compared to machines with gravitational bow clamping. The exceptional cutting power of the machine is due to the following features: a three-sided precise carbide strip guide, a saw bow that is bidirectionally guided on pre-tensioned linear guides, a 41 mm high saw blade, and a synchronized liquid brush for chip removal.

Material feeding, material clamping, and saw bow feeding are hydraulically controlled. The maximum length of individual feeding is 750 mm. The entire work cycle is completed after programming the length and number of pieces. The B&R control unit is equipped with a large and clear display. Programming occurs in simple steps, and due to the large graphical display of individual parts, control is easy for the user. By switching the machine to manual mode, all machine functions can be controlled separately. All control elements are mounted on a freely adjustable control panel.

The saw bow rotation is steplessly unilateral from 0° to 60°. The material is clamped with jaw clamps with full stroke. The machine is equipped with a frequency converter which allows setting the optimal saw blade speed according to the material being processed in the range of 20 to 120 m/min; this significantly extends the saw blade's life and the machine's productivity. The saw blade is inclined towards the worktable surface at an angle of 2°, which also significantly reduces cutting time and contributes to a longer blade life.

Standard equipment also includes automatic pressure drop regulation, dependent on the resistance of the processed material, and continuously adjustable bow drop. The machine can be expanded with a wide range of additional equipment such as a LaserLiner for marking cuts, additional lighting, or even a mist lubrication device (microniser). The machine can be customized to the special requirements of users with roller conveyors for input and output material, length limiters, or transverse feeders.
