The V2000 has two moveable reaction points that include an electric switch to indicate both points are touching the material. The PLC control can save the data to repeat the same camber on subsequent profiles, significantly speeding up processing times. The reaction point position can be easily adjusted by releasing a handle and doesn’t require screwing/unscrewing to move.
MONITOR RESULTS IN REAL TIME
The V2000 integrated PLC system has a touch panel to indicate the current machine status and give full insight to the cambering process. By determining the zero-reference and saving the neutral and work stroke, the PLC is able to make a fully automatic stroke. The combination of automation and feedback gives you a clear look in on the process with minimal manual operation intervention required.

Smart cambering

Hydraulic cylinder with pusher
The main pusher mounted on the front of the hydraulic cylinder has an electric switch that detects contact with a profile to store cambering data.
Combine cambering with other Voortman machines
Voortman offers 1.500 mm (5′) width roller conveyors for integrating the V2000 cambering machine into a processing system with other Voortman equipment. The roller conveyor system consists of partially motor driven rolls that are operated by joystick. With this system in place, you are able to clear the V2000 work area easily and continue with cambering.

The V2000 is equipped with two motor-driven rolls with adjustable speed for accurate, automated beam positioning.

The V2000 can straighten profiles that have bent during storage or transport to prepare them for easier processing.

FEATURES AND PROCESSES
The main advantage of drilling is processing high quality holes in a diverse range of hole diameters and material thicknesses. To create bolted connections and to remove sharp edges of a drilled hole, thread-tapping and countersinking can be performed in one single process cycle. With automatic tool changing of carbide (tipped) drills, solid carbide drills, HSS drills, thread-taps, countersink and marking tools, manual labor is reduced and further processing simplified.
Centerpoint marking provides you guidance during further processing like welding. It is the easiest and fastest way to mark your product and saves you time and costs. Centerpoints can also be used to mark where operations should be executed which are beyond the machine’s limitations. The centerpoint marking process creates very small drilled dots, executed by the drilling unit on this machine.
INTEGRATION WITH YOUR SHOP
The V2000 is often used as a standalone machine, however, with roller conveyors and cross transports the V2000 can easily be integrated into a Multi System Integration (MSI) layout. This makes handling profiles and products easy and efficient.
